Company Profile
Extreme Broadband Sdn Bhd (Extreme Broadband) is an Internet Service Provider licensed by the Malaysian
Communication and Multimedia Commission. Incorporated in May 2005, Extreme Broadband commenced its
operations in July 2005. One month following its business commencement, Extreme Broadband won an exclusive
contract to supply broadband Internet services to one of the most prestigious universities in the region -
The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC). Within a month thereafter, Extreme began rolling out
its broadband services to students and staff of UNMC and has been enjoying continued progress to date.

Extreme Broadband has two key business focuses;

- Voice over IP (VOIP)
Broadband Internet, in all its forms and derivations is one of the most sought after services in the 21st Century.
The government of Malaysia has set a target to propel Malaysia's broadband penetration rate from the current mere
400,000 subscribers to 2.8 million by 2008. With our unique product line and distinct customer service focus,
Extreme Broadband is well positioned to reap the benefits of this exponential growth.
According to the IDC, a well-known telecom industry analyst, "The VoIP industry in Malaysia reached RM539.5 million
in 2004 and is expected to grow 20.6% in the subsequent year against a 3.0% decline of the overall voice telecommunications industry.
This industry is further expected to increase at a 2004 - 2009 compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.4% throughout the forecast period,
reaching a total of RM1,308.9 million in 2009."
All Extreme Broadband's voice features are developed in house. Our technical savvies, combined with our strong relationship with distribution partners,
will help us capture a significant share in the voice market.
